This is Manitou Springs - great town!
From Santa Fe we moved on to Colorado Springs, CO to see the sights. We climbed Pike's Peak and conquered the Royal Gorge Canyon. Saw Royal Gorge from two perspectives - one - we paddled our way down the Arkansas River in a raft through rapids rated III, IV, and V. Then we drank our way through the gorge in a train.
We stayed in Manitou Springs which was a great town, lots to do and see. Also went to Garden of the Gods and the top of Pike's Peak with some friends. Took a side trip to Cripple Creek (an old mining town) to hit the casinos where we didn't lose a dime.
